I arrived back from Abuja yesterday to a warm welcome from party members, supporters, and well-wishers. I am sincerely grateful for the encouragement and confidence so many people continue to show. What gives me hope is seeing the growing belief that Delta State can be more than it is today. I look forward to a Delta where our people are productive, where young people have meaningful and dignifying jobs, where businesses can thrive, and where our resources work for the benefit of everyone. Earlier this year, our team had the privilege of delivering a contract involving the transportation of the Abuja Power Plant turbine and generator from the Port of Warri to Gwagwalada. The project involved the use of our Self-Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) and required a combination of industry-standard technical expertise and deep local knowledge to navigate the challenging conditions of the River Niger. While the shallow waterways and logistical complexities led many to view the operation as extremely difficult, our understanding of the local environment, combined with careful engineering and planning, enabled us to develop a practical solution and execute the project successfully. The operation demanded precision and commitment at every stage. Through teamwork, experience, and a determination to find solutions where others saw obstacles, the project was completed safely and efficiently. I remain proud of every member of the Wellmann team who contributed to this achievement.
