#BREAKING: A person identified as Dominic Martin has claimed responsibility for the #KalamasseryBlasts and has surrendered before the Police. On his Facebook Live broadcast, Martin defended his act as a warning against the “anti-national” nature of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a Christian sect of which he claims to be a long time member. For the past few hours, many Sanghi influencers have exploited this tragedy, as they often do, to disseminate anti-Muslim hatred. They shamelessly peddled the theory that this was an attack on Jews by Muslims who are inspired by Hamas. Every single one of these hate-mongers should be prosecuted for intentionally trying to foment communal discord in the society.
