On our way back from the Springfield Sportsmen’s Show to get ahead of the nor’easter coming to Massachusetts, we made a quick stop at the Basketball Hall of Fame. It’s a historic place, and Western Massachusetts is ready to make some history of its own by helping us unseat a 50-year sitting senator. It’s time for change.

The beaches in Maryland must be incredible. Because nobody who has ever spent three hours crawling toward Cape Cod on a functionally obsolete bridge would think this system is acceptable. Massachusetts sends more tax dollars to Washington per person than any state in America. So why are we still depending on bridge infrastructure that traces its roots back over 110 years? Decades of representation. Billions sent to D.C. And we're still sitting in traffic. That's not a funding problem. That's a leadership problem.

Massachusetts is the only state in the country where all three branches of government exempt themselves from public records laws. When voters demand transparency through a vote and in court, they try to dismiss it. Apparently your vote only matters when they like the outcome. That’s corruption. Let’s start ending it this November.

We have got to get back to a place where we can take our politicians for their word. It's a sad state that Elizabeth Warren thinks I can stand on the debate stage and lie to the American people to get elected, but then change my mind as soon as I get to DC. She's part of the broken Washington system that uses that playbook, but I'm not. It's why she also is lying about my record. These politicians will do anything to hold onto power and care more about special interests than the working and middle class.
