Omar: "I am very proud of my passport, and I don't want any other one." He also urged politicians and lawmakers to do everything they can to restore the prestige and respect of the Somali passport. And he encouraged young Somalis to believe in themselves and in their country. 🇸🇴

The far-right, pro-Zionist media is trying to shift attention away from the global sympathy and support Omar Artan has received after being denied entry to the United States to participate in the FIFA World Cup. They are trying to link Somalis to a horrific crime in Northern Ireland, even though the individual responsible is not Somali and represents no community but himself. Yet the desperate effort to portray him as Somali is impossible to ignore! Since Israel's recognition of a region in northern Somalia, we have been engaged in an existential media battle with Zionists. It has now reached the point where they can't tolerate any positive news or success story associated with Somalia!

Listen to how Ilhan Omar defended Trump when an EU representative from Belgium took a shot at him, and she stepped in with a response that stunned the whole room. She said: You may not like what our President is doing or our foreign policy, but when we are here, you will respect my president. Ilhan is playing clean, honorable politics, not like the barbaric Trump who attacks Somali American community, and I’m proud of her. 👏🏽 Rep. Ilhan Omar Rep. Ilhan OmarMN

In 2024, Somalia exported livestock worth $974 million. More than 70% of these exports go to Saudi Arabia, a country with a population of over 36 million people, not to mention the massive livestock demand during the Hajj season. In contrast, the UAE, with a population of about 10 million, around 9 million of whom are expatriates, many of them Indian vegetarians who do not consume meat, imported less than $15 million worth of Somali livestock in 2023. The irony is striking: Berbera port handles around 75% of Somalia’s livestock exports to Saudi Arabia, yet the secessionist administration chose to side with the UAE and the Zionists. Bosaso port handles about 10% of Somalia’s livestock exports to Saudi Arabia, yet Deni, the state governor, still decided to side with the UAE. I genuinely don’t know how much stupidity Deni and Irro, who control these areas, must have to reach such conclusions. Note: Somalia’s livestock comes from across the Somali Peninsula and is exported through these ports. This trade is a lifeline for producing families and a major pillar of the Somali economy.

Elon maybe you should respect South Africa’s laws and acknowledge what its people went through because of colonialism. As someone born there, you should be more empathetic and understand the country’s history better, instead of trying to bend the country’s laws to fit your own interests!

This is very interesting❗️ Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet over its territory, and reports indicate the pilots were captured alive. Yet Iran went on to announce a reward for any information about them. The U.S. responded with a CSAR mission to recover the pilots. Then Iran brought down an aircraft involved in that search. Everything points to a calculated trap, the pilots were used to lure in rescue forces, only for Iran to strike again. What a humiliation for the "we will send them back to the Stone Age" team. 🤡

Hassan Sheikh refused to meet with the people of Awdal and told them that he had referred Awdal's request for recognition as a federal member state to Djibouti. Imagine that. A leader outsourcing the future of part of his own country to another state. What an embarrassment! 📍The people of Awdal brought him a detailed file warning of serious threats to Somalia's sovereignty. They warned that the Ethiopia MoU would not be the end of it and that other foreign actors, including Israel, could follow. Hassan Sheikh chose to ignore those warnings. 📍Awdal sits in the far north of Somalia on the Djiboutian border, overlooking the southern Red Sea and close to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. It is one of the most strategically important regions in the country, yet instead of treating it as a national priority, Hassan Sheikh chose to dismiss its concerns.

The U.S. government has announced that it will no longer fund AUSSOM, and now the Somali government is moving quickly to deploy more troops to fight terrorist groups! Whether this government will succeed or not is a separate question. The point I want people to understand is that relying on foreign troops only delays the transfer of full security responsibility to Somali forces and reduces the urgency to build strong Somali security institutions. The Somali National Army is the only force that can ultimately defeat terrorism in Somalia. African troops or even U.S. airstrikes can't eliminate these groups. At best, they can contain them. That only prolongs the suffering of the Somali people while the United States continues spending billions of dollars on a conflict without a lasting solution. If the U.S. truly considers terrorist groups a threat to its national security or interests, its strategy should be to strengthen and support the Somali government so it can defeat those groups on its own. Cutting funding for AUSSOM and shutting down USAID were among the best decisions made by the current U.S. administration. They create the pressure needed for Somalia to take full responsibility for its own security and institutions.

Minister Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir: Our government has done a lot for Somaliland! 1. We recognized Somaliland's unity... which explains why they ignored the Northeastern region and Awdal. 2. We adopted a policy of appointing to the Federal Government only individuals from the northern regions who were acceptable to Somaliland, rather than people who had left the north, settled in Mogadishu, and no longer understood what was happening in Somaliland...in other words, we filled federal government positions with separatists who supported the division of the country!

The incident took place near the White House, and the shooter had worked in a secret unit in Afghanistan that cooperated with the U.S. military. He was then recruited as an intelligence asset for the CIA and was granted asylum under the current U.S. administration this past April. I can’t help but think the same way Candace Owens does right now! 👀
