The Meira Paibis even incited male volunteers to rape those Kuki-Zo girls from Manipur University (MU). 2. It was the Meira Paibis (Meitei Women torch bearers) who burned a 5 year old young boy and two women alive in an ambulance at LAMSANG on 4th June. They were escorted by the police, but the Meira Paibis, hundred in numbers, stopped the escort and set the ambulance on fire. 3. It was the Meira Paibis, armed with knives and swords, who paraded two Kuki-Zo women naked in front of the crowd and later instigated their sons to rape them at B Phainom Village on 5th June.
