The Trump administration has issued an EO directing the Secretary of Interior to decide whether gray wolves and Mexican gray wolves still deserve protections under the guise of helping ranchers. Wolves deserve better than a Big Bad Wolf narrative dictating their fate.

Our mission is to preserve, protect and restore imperiled wildlife in North America – not ignore real, present-day threats to species facing extinction. Let’s not celebrate the supposed return of a long-extinct species while today’s wildlife slips ever closer to extinction.

Truly shameful. A sitting member of Congress, Rep. Ralph Norman, stating that he hopes white-nose syndrome, which affects long-eared bats, “wipes out all of them.” We need our representatives to fight extinction, not be its cheerleader.
