🇵🇰🇨🇳 Pakistan Navy Launches Fourth Hangor-Class Submarine GHAZI in China The Pakistan Navy has launched its fourth Hangor-class submarine, PNS GHAZI, at the Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group’s Shuangliu Base in Wuhan, China. With this milestone, all four submarines being constructed in China under the Pakistan–China defence cooperation framework have entered advanced sea trials and are approaching final handover. The Hangor-class programme comprises eight submarines—four built in China and four to be constructed at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) under a Transfer of Technology (ToT) arrangement. Equipped with advanced sensors and modern weapon systems, these platforms will significantly enhance Pakistan Navy’s undersea warfare and maritime deterrence capabilities.
