🎆📅VICTORY DAY!📅🎆 Today is Victory Day, in this day, May 30th, the Illuminate 'Great Host' has successfully destroyed, being forced to humiliatingly retreat from Super Earth's Orbit. 5 Megacities were left in ruins, families were torn apart, billions of votes were lost, but at last, at 2PM on the 30th, the Great Host retreated from Super Earth's orbit, the shadow of tyranny was lifted from our great capital. This battle was not just the battle for our capital, but the battle in which we fought for what we loved most, freedom, democracy and our way of life. This victory came at a devastating cost, multiple buildings that has stood for decades were burn to the ground by the invading forces, New Haven, Pilen V and Widow's Harbor, previously peaceful, colonial planet were razed, leaving to trace behind. 120,601,568 were lost in the battle, and even more regular SEAF soldiers gave their lives for Managed Democracy, 8 Billion Illuminate were killed, leaving an unforgettable loss of Squid forces. We celebrate Victory Day, not for the victory itself, but for everyone that showed that Super Earth's will cannot be broken so easily, and that Managed Democracy's light cannot be extinguished by any means. Today, Super Earth stands as the beating Heart of Democracy, lighting up the galaxy with the light of liberty. The Helldivers fought until the last man standing, using every method to exists to drive the Squids out of our sacred, democratic soil. The heroes of Equality-on-Sea, the initial response forces on Eagleopolis, the presidential guard on Prosperity City, upon many more are forever immortalized as victims of the Squ'ith tyrannical reign.
