Really enjoyed the new Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson buddy action comedy "Runner" - not quite as uniquely flavored and presented as Ritchson's other film this year "Motor City" but it's simple, impactful action filmmaking with a lot of charm at the forefront 👊🔥🔫🔪😮

Bro the fucking shot of Damon entering into focus, dialogue going muffled and him psycho analyzing his team is insane, immediate tension straight after lighthearted banter, Carnahan is on a different level, "The Rip" man, just get here sooner goddamnit 😩🔥👀👮♀️👮♂️🚔

HOLY SHIT THIS WOLVERINE FAN FILM ! 👀🔥😮🙌Goderoy Ryckewaert and his team continue to be absolute masters of indie stunt filmmaking, there is NO fucking excuse for comic book movies to not have this level of action and visceral excitement with hundreds of millions of dollars !

So I watched Uwe Boll's "Citizen Vigilante" recently with extremely confused, mixed reactions, on the one hand it's classic Uwe Boll, all technical/narrative aspects of the film are creatively bankrupt as usual, on the other, sadly, Armie Hammer is fully locked in👀😔

Beyond one ridiculously lousy CGI fall (you know the one 👀) I loved "The Punisher: One Last Kill" a brutal, unflinching gauntlet of skillfully crafted, grimy ultra-violence. When Hatebreed came on it tapped into a "Punisher: Warzone" tone that I couldn't help but love !💀🔥🔪🩸

Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice - some of the most bottom of the barrel, reference-filled American humor I was never really a big fan of, so bounced off it pretty hard here, then made up for with some of the best HK-style shootouts in a contemporary American action film WTF🔥🕊️🤨

Combat untrained actor who was willing to prep with the stunt team for as long as it took to perform simple, yet brutal and efficient choreography under a director that knew what he needed and how to get it in a television series without the Disney money OR time✋🙄🤚

Remembering that we're getting "One Last Shot" the final installment in the trilogy of some of the most unique actioners in recent memory - James Nunn's "One Shot" and "One More Shot" THIS YEAR sends goosebumps down my spine man, enthralling and captivating filmmaking 🔥🪖✈️🔪🔫

Forgot how impeccably well designed this final fight from "The King's Man (2021)" was. Old-school fencing choreography mixed with contemporary camerawork like this was a unique mixture that really worked for me, love the silhouette use on the WWI projection screen too🤺⚔️🔥👌

Sidharta Tata's "Ikatan Darah" blew me away this year, a grimy, nihilistic, incredibly violent action thriller that has some intense fight sequences puncuated by kinetic camerawork and brisk editing that highlights Uwais team's impeccable choreography, awesome film !🔪👊👀😮
