In a major breakthrough, a joint operation by DFCCIL Security, RPF, and SOG Bulandshahr Police successfully dismantled an organised interstate cable theft gang involved in stealing signalling cables from DFCCIL infrastructure. The operation stemmed from the theft of a 19-Core Signalling Cable near the Gang Nahar Steel Bridge between the New Khurja–New Maman section. Through meticulous technical investigation, CCTV analysis, intelligence gathering, and extensive field coordination, the team tracked and apprehended four accused members of the gang. The arrests led to the recovery of approximately 1,250 kg of stolen signalling cable, a vehicle used in the crime, and crucial evidence linking the accused to multiple railway property theft cases across jurisdictions. DFCCIL expresses its appreciation to all officers and personnel involved in the operation. Sh. Alok Kumar, GM/CO/Ambala, for extending immediate logistical support that enabled swift action during the investigation. Sh. Ashish Mishra, GM/Security/EDFC, whose close coordination with RPF and SOG Bulandshahr played a pivotal role in cracking the case. Sh. Nitin Mehra, JM/Ambala along with other security staffs of Ambala Unit played a crucial role by working closely with the SOG Bulandshahr team and RPF. #DFCCIL #DedicatedFreightCorridor #RailwaySecurity
