And just like that, I realized we’re alone. It’s just my son and I, surrounded by the ghosts of a life I once lived. The battlefield now grows sunflowers. My friends are now like the wind stroking my face, something I can feel but never see. This time coming back felt empty. A memory of a world that no longer exist. Walking the footsteps of my own past. Now trying to see it through my son’s eyes, finding a new path together. #Ukraine #war

Going from the Arctic, North of Norway, back to Ukraine with my 9 month old son. 4000 km. Decided to break it up into two parts, so the first 2000 km was a test to see how the rest would go. After a week in the south of Norway we are getting ready for the next part. Had a crash out about «losing my glow» postpartum due to hyperpigmentation (dark circles under my eyes and on my forehead) caused by pregnancy hormones, puked my brains out for a couple of days due to food poisoning, spent my «big birthday» being sad, and spent a day being real pissed off about being in this situation working my ass off alone. Other than that the trip went surprisingly well. All of those mentioned are videos to come, along with «how do you feel about going back to Ukraine with a child» and «aren’t you scared your husband might get killed». Yes, I’m going through it. That’s all I can do. Just work my way through it.

We need a new car. 1 out of 2 cars we had left crashed in a tank. (It happens, harder to see them in the dark than you’d think). Lucky no one died, others did doing the same. Peter Frølich they’re very sad cause it’s the hilux from 🇳🇴. It has served us well and saved many lives.
