On today's Hall of Shame, we have Luke Akehurst MP who is a member of the right wing faction group "Get Britain Working", group of MPs who called for drastic welfare cuts. What makes this worse is that he has a disability. But he clearly has no empathy. Shame!! ALT: animated graphic with the words "Hall of Shame. Luke Akehurst. This MP supports the disability benefit cuts. They will not be forgiven." #DisabilityRebellion #WelfareNotWarfare #TakingThePIP #StopTheCuts #WelfareBill

We have a double whammy on Hall of Shame tonight. Reposting Angela Rayner for the third time: Evolve Politics reports: “Just to let you know that Angela Rayner is currently desperately phoning around backbench Labour MPs to try and persuade them to back Starmer’s despicable attack on disabled people.“

In today's Hall of Shame we have Pat McFadden, who in spite of the large rebellion within Labour Party ranks against the welfare reform bill, was doing the media rounds this morning, claiming that Liz Kendall is 'doing a good job! He also claimed that 1000 people are being accepted for PIP everyday, but had no evidence to back this up. Pat McFadden, the Labour MP for Wolverhampton South East, holds a majority of 9,188 votes from the 4 July 2024 general election. He can be easily removed at the next GE. He will not be forgiven. Reposting this one in light of Nandy’s comments today. On today’s Hall of Shame, we have Lisa Nandy MP who said “I’m really confident that we’ve listened and we’ve put forward a package that is absolutely right" and claimed that PIP is an out-of -work benefit - when in fact it’s to cover the extra costs associated with being disabled. Many PIP claimants work. In fact, it enables those claimants to work. Shame! #DisabilityRebellion #WelfareNotWarfare #TakingThePIP #StopTheCuts ALT: animated graphic with Lisa Nandy and the words “Hall of Shame, Lisa Nandy, this MP supports the disability benefit cuts. They will not be forgiven.”
