According to authorities, Prince George’s County Police responded to the 5100 block of Toddsbury Place in Suitland for a reported armed robbery. Investigators say a citizen was robbed at gunpoint by four individuals, with at least one suspect armed with a firearm. During the robbery, the victim’s coat and other personal belongings were taken. Officials later determined the stolen coat contained an AirTag tracking device, which helped investigators monitor the suspects’ movements. The tracking information led officers into Southeast Washington, D.C., where the suspects were located in the 2200 block of Hunters Place, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department, along with Prince George’s County Police and Metro Transit Police, coordinated efforts that resulted in multiple individuals being taken into custody.
