TODAY Homicide Suspect Found Dead After Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound in Southeast D.C. WASHINGTON, D.C. — The suspect wanted in connection with the homicide in the 4100 block of W Street Northwest has been found dead following an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities. Law enforcement officials located Stephon Jeter, 35, at the intersection of 30th and O Streets Southeast, where he was discovered deceased inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities confirmed that Million Honest Jeter, the child connected to the case, was not inside the vehicle. The discovery followed a brief pursuit involving Prince George’s County Police, with the Metropolitan Police Department, U.S. Secret Service, and PGPD responding to the scene. Officials have not released additional details regarding the events leading up to the pursuit. The investigation remains active. There is no ongoing threat to the public related to this incident.
