As drones continue to reshape the character of war, the Drone Dominance Program is seeking reusable bomber/dropper platforms to augment one-way attack drones. The DoW will award approximately $32 million in initial prototype orders. These capabilities will provide ground combat forces with the tools needed to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy in close combat. This newly announced “Mission C” is organized around two stages: a vendor-operated bomber qualifier and military-operated bomber gauntlet to identify the most capable systems for scaling and fielding. The Gauntlet will be held approximately 48 hours following the qualifier, currently planned to take place in October. Responses due by 31 July at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. Learn more and apply here:

Just weeks after wrapping up Phase 1, submissions are now open for Gauntlet II of the Drone Dominance Program. The United States Department of War 🇺🇸 is committing at least $300 million to purchasing 60,000 drones from up to 10 companies. “We’re raising the stakes and upping the competition,” says Travis Metz, DIU Deputy Director and COO. This time, companies will need to bring 120 drones to the competition to prove they're up to the task. Learn more and apply here:
