Me realising that every week whilst I was forgetting my catering ingredients at school, if my parents invested £100 at birth, I could have retired by 55. £100 a month, into the S&P 500 with a 10% annual growth ~ £2.86 million. 4% withdrawal rate at 55 ~ £114,000 annually. ZERO tax. Your take home on retirement at 55? £9533.33 every month. 12 years earlier than you “should”
