It feels only right that my first music post since Eamon’s passing is Liquid – Sweet Harmony. This Saturday will be my first gig back since we lost Eamon. Everyone heading to Bug Jam for the Centreforce / Cool Flo stage, I’m playing 9–10PM. I’d love you to join me at the start and end of my set – I’ll be playing Liquid’s music and capturing your reactions to show his daughter. Sunday there’ll be no guest podcast. Instead, I’ll be sharing my memories and the many (and I say that with a smile) many stories from our 36-year friendship. Then Wednesday I’m back on Centreforce Radio, doing a full show dedicated to Eamon. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown – the posts, the messages, the memories. Every weekend of my life for 35 years I’ve entertained people with the music and vibes I love. Last night at KoKo (Camden Palace) - House of Love for House is a Feeling, Rave Days and Shine, was absolutely magic. It’s hard to believe the music in these clips are 33 to 37 years old. For me every track I play be it live, on the radio, on my social media. Be it new music, or the classics, is no longer a case of simply playing the tracks. It’s celebrating them, and the fact I’m still here, and people are still showing a collective passion for the same vibes I’m passionate about. Last night was an onslaught of classic House music to Classic Rave music. I love doing this, and I’m truly grateful that people still come out and hear me play, or check what I’m pushing on radio and social media.
