Sooo grateful …She’s ran out of plates 😂❤️ #gratitude My Sundays and my life are just so far away from my life in addiction It’s nearly 9 years now since I had an alcoholic drink or took a drug - total abstinence and I honestly am so grateful for the simple things that my recovery has brought me My life drinking & using cocaine was utter torture & torment not just for me but all those who loved me too . I was a wired shell of the real man I am today There’s never one day I don’t ’catch precious moments’ and it’s the simple things that are the foundation of happiness Family time , re built trust , moments with my children & granddaughter, being creative, performing at work to my top ability, chatting to clubbers .. cuddles with my wife , chilling at home , trustworthy & honest & soo much more I’m so so grateful for my recovery coz believe me without it I would have non of these things Sundays were utter paranoid torture for be in addiction and now they’re full of family and love - the real highs in life If you’re struggling please reach out to someone for help .. it will be THE best thing you ever do Have a beautiful week everyone ❤️

ENERGY ... What you send out you will get back in return! Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is your time and today i went back to my old school Malvern for there amazing yearly event Malfest .... I loved my days at Malvern Primary School and its nice to give something back, help them raise money , see so many mums dads nans grandads and the kids all raving away Most importantly though it makes me feel good and it sends out all the positive happy loving caring energy that i want to come back to me ... Believe me this is so important. Sometimes its easy to fall into negative blame and complain mode whether thats in your actions, the way you speak or what your posting online but thats all i will get back in return if i live that way. The one person you speak to the most is yourself , make them conversations nice positive caring ones. Send out the energy that you want to come back to you Hope everyone enjoyed it today xxxx

Any blues know that year this would be? Ouch! Early 80s my dad Billy Butler was on BBC Radio Merseyside and having lost a bet live on the radio he had to sing 🎤 this reds anthem on stage outside Anfield 🥰 He gets cream caked at the end by Greame Sharp and Alan Bailey so what year we reckon it is ?

9 years drink & drug free #recovery #addiction #hope As i was driving today i thought i would do a little share about my recovery and the technique that completely saved me! I will never forget that broken feeling of having no hope! Desperate to quit drinking and using but unable to stop! Losing all the things i loved but feeling helpless to change! 1987 🔉 …. what a time to be alive 🎶 I was a 17 year old apprentice spark ⚡️ climbing under floorboards with my ghetto blaster annoying everyone 🤭 I remember the workies saying ‘turn that shite off it’s the same thing non stop’ 🤭 I was hooked on this acid / rave sound! It wasn’t long before I hung up my sparking tools ⚒️ and grabbed headphones and got my turntables 🔉 I love this track , it’s one of my fav ever riffs - lots of you may never have heard this and may hate it! But this early house track never left me The power of the music just transporting us back in time with one piano riff or a certain vocal that just takes you back instantly to a certain podium , memories of certain raver mates or an old moschino shirt 🤭 Who remembers this?
