Imam Dies While Under ICE Detention Sheikh Fouad Saeed Abdulkadir has passed away at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, an immigration detention facility located in Clearfield County, Philadelphia. Sheikh Fouad was a 46-year-old green card holder. Originally from Eritrea, he was an Imam at the Islamic Centre of Northeast Ohio. He was pronounced dead at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, after spending 215 days in ICE custody awaiting a hearing before the immigration court.
