I don't have a problem with the "in-game" interviews of the managers, but they need to be limited to 1, a maximum of 2 questions. That last interview by Ken Rosenthal was ridiculous. Have some respect that you're talking to a dude that's in charge of an entire roster and operation that is trying to win a World Series. #dodgers

The Bluejays do not have a SINGLE left-handed starter, and their 2 left-handed bullpen arms, Brendon Little, Mason Fluharty, and Eric Lauer, have combined for an ERA of over 10 in the playoffs. This series should set up well for Ohtani, Freeman, and Muncy, and, while it's highly unlikely, it also suggests the door could be open for the addition of Conforto, simply because he hits left-handed. #dodgers

The Roki Sasaki situation is complicated, and it's not as simple as making it black and white. Sasaki, unquestionably, has NOT performed well enough as a starter to deserve a spot in the opening day rotation. But, he was KEY in the World Series title last year, AND, he took WAY less money to join the Dodgers. He did that because he believed in the Dodgers' developmental system, and he felt as if he could grow the most under the Dodgers instruction. He also wanted to play with Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Beyond that, I'm sure, as part of the sales pitch, the Dodgers assured him a spot in the rotation, because they were the only organization that could "logistically" implement a 6-man rotation. They can do that because Ohtani is a 2-way player, so, in essence, they can have 14 pitchers. So, to get Sasaki to sign, especially considering he was signing early, and thus, had to sign a Minor League contract, their HAD to be promises made. One could assume the Dodgers assured him a spot in the rotation, and, more importantly, a role as a starter. And, you have to understand, one of the secret sauces for the Dodgers with Free Agents is that they have developed a remarkable reputation for delivering on the promises they make. That alone is a MAJOR factor as to why the Dodgers are THE destination for Free Agents. And the ability to acquire the CORRECT Free Agents can NOT be understated as to the impact it's made in creating this dynasty. So, to move Sasaki either to the pen or to AAA, they would have to back out on a promise made, and one that was instrumental in his signing with the Dodgers instead of the Padres or any other organization. It's truly a "rock and a hard place" because you have everyone else on the "merit system" and pitchers being sent to OKC that deserve better, meanwhile, Sasaki is getting preferential treatment. Then, on top of all that, one of the LARGEST parts of this dynasty construction has been capturing the Asian market, specifically the Japanese market. The Dodgers have done such great work capturing that audience, and because of it, they are swimming in both money AND championships. It's been a 100% Win/Win, and surely NO ONE would want to upset that Apple Cart. Especially over a 6th starter, who has potential, as he showed in the playoffs last year? And on a team that could win 100+ games and win the Division by double digits? Even if he doesn't pitch well! Even if he pitches well in just 1/2 his outings, the Dodgers might win 110ish games if everything else plays out the way it should. That's the "rock and a hard place" that I see, and I can see both sides of it. For me, it just kind of "Is What It Is, and I trust the Front Office to massage this situation in a way that works for everyone in the long run. #dodgers

Are You Kidding Me? Orel Hershiser tells the audience that the Dodgers should be looking for the breaking ball down & in, and 2 seconds later, Mookie Betts hits one over the fence to give the Dodgers the lead. I mean, what can't the Dodgers do? Best on the field, best in the booth, what else do I need to add here? #dodgers

Charles Davalan is maybe THE biggest steal of the 2025 draft class for the Dodgers. He's slashing .291/.408/.504 with 6 home runs, 20 RBI, and 8 steals through 31 games. He's drawn 18 walks to just 18 strikeouts while posting a .912 OPS in High-A. Davalan has also been producing in big spots. He’s hitting .359 with a 1.167 OPS as a leadoff hitter and owns a 1.238 OPS when ahead in the count. The former Arkansas standout has already shown an advanced mix of power, on-base ability, and speed in his first full professional season. #dodgers #dodgersprospects #charlesdavalan

If you're a baseball junkie, take the time & listen to Dino Ebel in this clip. There's a lot to unpack here, and it's all awesome stuff. First, Dino talks about time being on their side. The goal for a pitcher is to deliver the ball to home plate in 1.3 seconds. For a catcher, a 2.0 pop time is the standard, so any runner that can steal from base to base in under 3.3 seconds has time on their side. Then Dino talks about not yelling back to his runner at 2nd to make sure they're not diving back into the bag as a pitcher is delivering the ball to home plate. If that happens, a runner wouldn't be able to score from 2nd on a base hit. Finally, Dino talks about being aggressive sending runners home with 2 outs. The reason for that is that the odds are better that the defense will make a mistake somewhere along the relay chain than there is of the next hitter getting a base hit. Fans lose their minds when runners get thrown out at the plate, but, many times, don't realize, that with 2 outs it's pretty much pre-determined because it gives the offense the best odds to score a run. If the defense executes, so be it, but the next hitter has a 75% chance of getting out, and that's what makes it the correct call. I could listen to Dino Ebel & Eric Karros talk baseball every day & twice on Sundays. #dodgers

Cam Leiter...LFG! 3IP | 1H | 0R | 3Ks | 0BB Leiter was making his affiliated debut in the Dodgers system after getting drafted in the 2nd Round of last summer's draft out of Florida State. Big fastball with what looks like a LOT of "ride & run", then a really good slider-shaped pitch. Good to see him start 2026 healthy, as he battled shoulder problems with the Noles. #dodgers #dodgersprospects

Congratulations to CHRIS CAMPOS, who got to pitch at Dodgers Stadium for the FIRST time in a Dodgers uniform in a game. Campos is a SoCal boy, so it can't be described how much this meant to him and his family. And, while he's EARNED every bit of what he got last night, I promise you the Dodgers do NOT miss on things like this. It's part of what makes their culture 2nd to none. As per the outing, it was, well, Chris Campos. Athletic ability that showed off his skills as a former D1 shortstop. Composure combined with "compete". Sliders and cutters, and 4 seams & 2 seams, or whatever you want to tag the shapes of his pitches. 0 fear of anything, and a supreme confidence that his stuff will get outs IN the zone. Could not be happier for Chris, this is a culmination of a LOT of hard work, a lot of being told he was too small & could NEVER make it, and a lot of just not taking NO for an answer. Can't wait to see the next BIG moment, when he takes the mound in his MLB debut. It's not IF with this dude, it's WHEN. #dodgers #dodgersprospects

Bobby Miller...AGAIN! Miller turned in yet ANOTHER scoreless inning of relief last night for AAA OKC, and has gone scoreless in 6 relief outings in a row. Also, during this stretch, he's retired 21 of 23 hitters he's faced in this stretch. But, then he got a double play last night to make that stat even more efficient. He's been totally dominant, despite recording just 5Ks in his last 6 innings. 4 Seam SAT 99.3, and he threw 2 sinkers, 1 hit 100, the other 99. He also threw a couple of sliders and a curveball. The sample size is getting larger, and IMO, is approaching the territory where one would imagine he'll start getting SERIOUS consideration to get a look with LA to see if he can be a factor down the stretch. #dodgers

News on Ben Casparius & Alex Freeland. Both have been optioned down, but neither is going to lose an option year. As Alex Freedman, the AAA Comets PxP, describes in the video below, each player gets 3 option years before they can no longer be sent down to the Minor Leagues. A player has to spend at least 20 days in the Minor Leagues for it to be considered an option year. And, that time has to be AFTER they have had their contract selected and added to the 40-man roster. So, the time Alex Freeland spent BEFORE his contract was selected this year does NOT count towards his 20 days. He was optioned down on September 6th, so he will NOT reach his 20 days, and will still have ALL 3 option years remaining. So will Ben Casparius! Sucks for the player, good for the org., because those types of situations are, many times, the determining factors of decisions that are made. Take a listen to the clip ⬇️ it's worth your time! #dodgers

River Ryan...Welcome Back! How about 98 on the 4 seam and 92 on the slider for the K on the first hitter on re-entry. Ryan's fastball SAT 97 & touched 98....Wow! Slider was good, and he threw it the most, and it averaged 90! Ryan had Tommy John late in the season in 2024, spent all last season rehabbing, and now here he is. He AND his brother. The Tommy John will be nothing other than a blip on his radar. He fractured his back in High School, but continued to play as a 2-way at UNC Pembroke, but was mainly a shortstop. He got drafted by the Padres, still as a 2-way, then got traded to the Dodgers for Matt Beaty, and was moved to a pitcher only once he got here. So, he's a great athlete who thinks like a "baseball player" and not just a pitcher. In fact, ask around to those in the system as to who is the best athlete in the system, at any position, and see how high up the charts he is. #dodgers #dodgersprospects

James Tibbs III keeps raking for OKC! He had 3 hits tonight, which is his 4th game this year in which he's had at least 3 hits, and his 7th multi-hit game of the year. ➡️Season-long dominance Tibbs isn’t just hot—he’s been one of the most productive hitters in all of Minor League Baseball in 2026: .308 AVG / .423 OBP / 1.143 OPS 11 HR, 23 RBI in just 107 AB 33 hits, 29 runs scored He’s been an extra-base machine too, leading the minors in total bases and extra-base hits earlier this month while sitting near the top in home runs and slugging percentage. Elite plate discipline → OBP .423 Massive power impact → 1.143 OPS, .720 Situational damage → multiple OPS splits above 1.300 in key spots (bases empty, early innings) Tibbs isn’t just producing—he’s dominating. Whether it’s working counts, driving the baseball out of the yard, or delivering in key situations, he’s quickly establishing himself as one of the most dangerous bats in Triple-A. #dodgers #dodgersprospects #jamestibbsIII

Bobby Miller needed just 6 pitches to get through his scoreless inning for AAA OKC. Miller has gone scoreless in 3 relief outings in a row. Great sign that he threw to weak contact, and that he's featuring his change, both adjustments I think we're going to see more of. Threw 2 changeups, and 2 FBs that were 99. Also flipped in a slider and 1 curveball. #dodgers

Alex Vesia went scoreless again and has yet to give up a run in Spring Training. Of course, it's just 5.1 innings, but that's the sample size he's been given, and he's made the most of it. WHIP is just 0.56. Vesia, as much as Dodgers fans love and appreciate him, still doesn't get the credit he deserves, IMO. His ERA over the last 2 years has been 1.76 in 2024 and 3.02 in 2025. In 2021, it was 2.25 & in 2022 it was 2.15. Overall 2.92 ERA for his career, career average against of just 1.87, career WHIP of just 1.12. Dude has been a GREAT pitcher for quite a while now! #dodgers

Roki Sasaki Touched 100! Sasaki was GREAT through 4 innings tonight for AAA OKC, then ran into trouble in the 5th, which is when all 3 runs were scored. 4.2IP | 3H | 3R | 8Ks | 4BB Sasaki threw 51 4 Seams, touched 100, sat 98.5, so the velo was WAY up. 4 Seam was also in the zone at 57%, which is very close to perfect, and, while his splitter didn't land much, he got 6 whiffs off that pitch out of the 8 he threw. Lots to like, in terms of process, about tonight for Sasaki! #dodgers
