I don't know what to call this if it's not mischievousness. Facts About the Reconstruction of the Asaba–Benin Highway: >>Timeline: The reconstruction of the 125km Asaba–Benin highway was flagged off in March 2025, with an expected completion date of September 2027. >>Funding: It is fully funded under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. >>Scope: It features a 10-lane carriageway (five lanes on each side) spanning from King Square to the Benin bypass to ensure smooth traffic flow. Additionally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is currently executing the reconstruction of over 70 federal highways and strategic road projects simultaneously. These developments cover all 36 states, including major legacy highway corridors, regional superhighways, and targeted bridge reconstructions.
