🚨#NEW: After Saturday's mass shooting at the Twin Falls In-N-Out Burger, family members are sharing the heartbreaking stories of the lives lost. Among them was Christopher Claunch, 59, who died from his injuries after the shooting, according to his sister, Kimberly Castaneda, who spoke with The New York Times. Claunch worked at Renaissance Ranch Recovery Center in Rupert and had lived in Idaho for about 30 years after moving from California. His sister said he loved stopping at In-N-Out whenever he returned to California to visit family, and he had been excited when the restaurant opened its Twin Falls location a little over a week ago. But wanting to avoid the crowds, he intentionally waited before making his first visit. "You have no idea how surprised I was when I found out he was there," Castaneda told The New York Times. His sister said Claunch had overcome years of alcoholism and had celebrated two years of sobriety. She also described the personal tragedies he endured, including losing his first wife in a car crash just three months after they were married. Recalling a Fourth of July gathering in Hagerman earlier this summer, Castaneda said he grabbed the festive headband she was wearing with tiny spinning wheels attached and wore it himself without a second thought.
