I recently FOIA’d a shooting in Peoria that wasn’t very exciting at all but I ended up watching all 6 hours of bodycam footage anyways. In this video: -the crowd won’t let anyone near the guy who’s shot in the chest. -the crowd fights the cops, who have med kits and are trying to rescue their friend. -because of the violent crowd, fire and EMS are 6 minutes late (time is kind of important with a sucking chest wound). -a cop loses a very important staccato magazine. -after fire and ems arrive there are still several felony arrests for fighting cops. I also forgot how fun it is to watch the police reaction in the aftermath of dealing with large crowds of stupid people.

Ran some supplies out to Kerr County with Brandon and met up with Wes Virdell. This is right around the corner from Camp Mystic, where 20 to 25 little girls went missing . Miles and miles of cars, trees, and homes piled on top of one another. First responders told us it’s a huge holiday weekend there with hundreds of out of towners staying on the river bank, which means they really can’t give a solid count on how many people are actually missing. This community is gonna need support in the following days. Keep an eye out on how to help. We’ll try to figure out more tomorrow. Heading back in a couple hours when it’s light outside.

Long day boys. There’s a little town beside Kerrville called Center Point that was completely destroyed by the flood. They have one volunteer fire department that was caught in the water, carrying away every piece of emergency equipment they have. Dudes barely got their fire trucks out. They managed to clean it out best they could and make it their base of operations for search and rescue. We linked up with them and searched the riverbanks for bodies all day. Great bunch of amazing men and women. We got them a generator, water, and energy drinks to keep things pumping, but they still need some help. Currently talking to the people in charge to figure out what they need exactly and I’ll relay that back in this thread.

A police officer pulls over a couple on their first date and responds to their fatal collision 10 minutes later. The 24 year old man was driving like a dickhead before a North Bergen police officer initiated a traffic stop and issued citations for reckless driving, running lights, and driving after hours (a provisional license violation). After letting them go with several tickets, the driver slammed into the back of a tractor trailer, completely peeling the roof off of the vehicle. From personal experience, I’m gonna have to say they both probably died instantly from decapitation.

Four suspects committed a home invasion in Los Angeles. They bound and gagged their victims. LAPD surrounded the property and two suspects were taken into custody without incident, a third suspect decided it would be a good idea to jump off of the property to escape lol. After he hit the ground he pulled out a hammer and pointed it at police which resulted in an OIS and a 40 mike mike being deployed. Somehow dude survived and the 4th suspect was taken into custody without incident.

They showed up to see what was up and the 38 year old suspect ran inside a business, taking a woman hostage. The officer in the video waited for the right moment and fired three shots, striking the suspect in the face, neck, and left arm. He drew, extended, and fired 3 shots in a little over 1 second. Outstanding. The suspect’s brother stated: "He’s a good guy. They can’t tell me he had a machete and tried to cut people throat. Nah, he ain’t like that."
