We recently figured out how the pull down the straps sequence happens in #WWE2K26. Rather than a hacky way, we can now insert new entries to the game and assign any animation for the sequence. Here is Ciampa's slot using a custom flag to pull down the kneepad. 🕺

Little something I've been working, I have been able to replicate how WWE 2K do their mesh warping in CAS mode. I can now import any CAS item to Blender, and warp it to a character exactly like 2K and apply the body mesh masking. #WWE2K26

This is something we've been working on as a small side quest. We've almost rebuilt the SmackDown 2 game in Unreal Engine 5. This SDReloaded Engine will be released for Free, open source on Github when done for non-commercial reasons, ghouls don't get any ideas. Support of DISCOVERY continued support is enabling us to do things like this, so thank you. 👊 Obvious things to clean up (aprons etc), but it's cool to see how they rendered the characters off screen and had them appear in through the tron. #UE5 #PS1

Weekend modding, working on a PS2 WWE project; it's merging Shut Your Mouth in Here Comes The Pain. Some things I've done so far: - Assembly edited the game, increased the roster code dramatically (with save expansion code to allow for season mode, stats etc) so nobody is replaced, they are new slots - All low poly models are disabled (assembly code edit), this means referees are high poly - Assembly edited the menu code to display every character and play one of their taunts - Full port of Hulk Hogan (+ all attires, NWO has separate tron/music on new slots too), this includes entrance, music, movies, moves etc all on brand new slots (no replacing), I have done others like Raven, Jeff Hardy, Billy Gunn etc - Increased the capacity of alt attires, anybody ported from SYM have all their attires, no replacement. - Ported moves have their own "New" category like #WWE2K26 Video is just a shoot record of some things.

This took a lot of work. There is still a lot of tweaking to do and it's filled with placeholder animations as usual. But, this is a full IK rope feedback solver (cholesky factor based) with contact evaluation, this is all Chaos physics still. #indiedev #ue5

I essentially ported WCW Mayhem into Def Jam Vendetta. 🔹 Tweaked camera to match more No Mercy style 🔹 WCW Nitro + Ring ported 🔹 Sting + Bam Bam Bigelow characters ported 🔹 I put the TNA Impact! Scorpion Death Drop move into the game 🔹 I put the WCW Mayhem Scorpion Death Drop move into the game 🔹 Custom placed crowd Built on the research we at DISCOVERY have done with the #WWE2K26 animation scene, I was able to build a similar animation event tool to shift gameplay event triggers, proof of concept I moved the impact sound of the TNA Impact move further along. Shout out to Mod Forever for being the first one to properly open the doors to Def Jam Vendetta modding, big inspiration!

Here is an example - I imported the DOR1 model, exported to the DOR2 format, it built the texture archive, model and colliders, all from scratch, from Blender. Very easy to mod! #WWE2K26 #DOR #Gamecube

We at DISCOVERY have been working on an API featuring advanced skeleton retargeting. This allows creators to import skeletons from other games, not just wrestling titles. Our bone identification system maps them to the WWE 2K skeleton, allowing you to load animations from other games and bring them into #WWE2K26. There are a lot of AI ported animations floating around that need to be authored better, this will solve it. 🕺
