Thinking about the Roxas vs Saïx fight that was originally in the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days game, but was cut from the HD cutscene movie. Movie only watchers don’t know just how deserved this moment was with Saïx who was very mean to Xion throughout the game. 😤

Roxas summoning two Kingdom Keys then transforming them into Oblivion and Oathkeeper was such a great scene. I still wish this detail was kept in the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days movie!

Thinking about the True End team attack in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind with Sora, Riku, and Mickey.

It’s only happened a couple of times between KH2 and KH3, but hearing “Sora, Donald, and Goofy” out of order will never not be jarring.

It’s been 4 years since Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced…

I still can’t believe it took me a while to find out that in Kingdom Hearts 1, you can freeze the bubbles in Hollow Bastion! 🥶

The tension between Roxas and Saïx throughout Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was so good, I wish they had incorporated the fight into the HD movie.

Thinking about Sora and Riku catching World Cards in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.

Everyone talks about how you can freeze the bubbles in Hollow Bastion. Then how about this hidden Lift Stop room that contains a treasure chest with a Royal Crown? Gotta love finding secrets in Kingdom Hearts!

Thinking about how often I play Kingdom Hearts just to then stand by the fireplace in Traverse Town listening to the music. 😌

It’s funny how despite the whole “Protect the World Order” thing in Kingdom Hearts, Sora had enough of Ursula and changed the plot of the movie.

Reminds me of when Disney released this trailer for Star Smash, a now discontinued mobile game, and two of the main characters resembled Sora and Kairi.

Thinking about the original Kingdom Hearts title screen and Dearly Beloved with the sound of the waves. 🥹

Thinking about when Dearly Beloved was revealed in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance to be Sora and Riku’s song, with their hearts always in tune. 🥹

Seeing KH3 Sora showing off his in-game abilities while in a cutscene was so cool. I hope we get to see more of that in Kingdom Hearts 4!

Still one of the most badass moments in all of Kingdom Hearts.

I like how in the GBA version of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, they let Axel be the first character to say “hell” in a KH game.

Holding out hope for another Kairi Kingdom Hearts game, that’s not a rhythm game, because having a Warp Strike moveset with KH combat is just so cool.

The Three Musketeers getting its own world in Kingdom Hearts was a cool surprise.

Seeing people talk about the Data fights between KH2FM and KH3 Re:Mind and thought instead of showing a Roxas clip, here’s one I did a few years ago fighting Marluxia. It’s not perfect as I was a bit rusty, but nevertheless here it is!

I really liked the Disney villain roundtable scenes in Kingdom Hearts. Nowadays I gravitate more towards the Organization XIII throne room meetings, and whatever’s next with the Foretellers, but I still have a lot of nostalgia for KH1’s council of Disney villains.

Looking back, this scene from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days should’ve also been included in the HD movie. It’s on Day 354: Truth, the day before the scene of Roxas confronting Axel. 😭

Here’s an overlapping scene in Castle of Dreams when Terra and Aqua meet up and the way their perspectives are framed together is so cool! 🥲

I miss the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind PS4 theme that has this Dearly Beloved playing in the background. 🥲

Still think about how Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory had each of the trios appear on the main menu. 🥲

I don’t think a single person who watched Kingdom Hearts 2’s secret ending back in the day thought to themselves that the series should’ve at KH2. Even nowadays I still see new KH players, after watching The Gathering, eager to play the rest of the games.
