Sharavathi reservoir at Linganamakki, facing my home, is filling up fast! It’s been raining nonstop for the past few days, with over 2,50,000 cusecs of inflow in the last five days alone. At this rate, another 45 days of heavy rain would take it to its maximum level of 1,819 feet. With a storage capacity of 151 TMC ft, Linganamakki is Karnataka’s largest dam and a 100% hydel power reservoir. (Video - CCTV at home)
