‘I knew I wanted to to do emergency medicine, but becoming a doctor would have taken a decade of my life’. Doctors have been shafted globally - instead of reforms to the profession, they introduced low-quality alternatives and kept doctors as shock absorbers. Immoral.

I’m still thinking about this. Paramedic practitioner tells James O'Brien: 🔸It doesn’t matter that he hasn’t studied medicine 🔸He’s better than doctors because he looks up from his screen 🔸He’s essentially done medicine vocationally as he was questioned ‘for weeks’ ☠️ ☠️ ☠️

⚠️This is huge. There have been 12 Never Events linked to PAs in Scotland. Scotland has *143* PAs The NHS had 407 NEs (likely mostly doctors) in a year. The UK has 376,000 docs If PA NE ratio was extrapolated to doctors that’d be 31,552 Never Events What’s coming is scary ☠️
