Great RPG towns aren't just places to stock up on supplies. They're places you want to slow down, talk to everyone, and soak in the atmosphere. 🏙️ That's the feeling we're aiming for with Lenoria City in Alterium Shift. Cozy streets, friendly faces, and even live music help make the world feel lived in. Which RPG town has always felt like home to you? #AlteriumShift #IndieGame #IndieDev #GameDev #JRPG

Pyra and Dolion face off against the fearsome Water Serpent! 🌊🐍 Fire attacks won’t get you very far against this watery foe, so you’ll need to change up your strategy. Build Dolion’s Burst Energy, unleash his power at the right moment, and you just might turn the tide! The Water Serpent’s low-poly look is also a deliberate stylistic choice, inspired by the distinctive 3D enemies seen in RPGs like Breath of Fire IV. #IndieGame #IndieDev #GameDev #JRPG

Seeing all the excitement around Breath of Fire IV hitting Steam has been awesome. It really says a lot about how strong that era of JRPGs still is. Alterium Shift is built with that same spirit in mind, shaped by the games many of us grew up with. If you’ve been diving back into those classics, come see what we’ve been building together!

Lowerton is a quiet seaside village where life moves at a gentler pace. The people here are warm and easygoing, shaped by the rhythm of the ocean that stretches just beyond their doorsteps. Fishing is at the heart of daily life, with fresh catches forming the backbone of nearly every meal. #IndieGame #IndieDev #GameDev #AlteriumShift #JRPG

We’ve always loved the warmth and personality of towns in RPGs like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IX, and Breath of Fire. That feeling has definitely shaped how we think about the world of Alterium Shift. Take Lenoria City, for example. It’s got that homely, lived-in feel... and even a live band! What’s your favorite RPG town? #IndieGame #IndieDev #GameDev #JRPG
