OK, I have to admit the 3d rotation of still images in Photoshop Beta intrigued me, and I happened to have this chicken warrior handy. The results were.. unexpected (This was supposed to be a full grown chicken man)...

If I were to do a short Rive tutorial, what would you like me to cover? Mesh animation? Blend states? Advanced rigs?

Ummmm.... HOLY CRAP. I didn't think this would work because we don't have blur yet in Rive, but you can use radial gradients!!!! Thanks DoubleGlitch 🇺🇦 for the awesome tutorial!

Another great character rig example utilizing raster meshes controlled with bones. Pair that with layouts and data binding and you can build unique, dynamic game menus. (Shoutout to JcToon for the amazing rig and animation work here)

Even more fun with Unreal Engine and Rive! The character is a .riv, walk animation is set up as a Rive input/boolean that toggles on and off based on character velocity!

Testing out how well this interactive animated short made in Rive works on the ipad. Looks like I need to make a more touch friendly version, but the new hover feature with the pencil works great!

Here's a Rive data binding demo that shows how you can adjust the feather amount based on the distance the cursor is to the object.
