Draymond on NBA pay structure "Most people are paid every 1st and the 15th all year, an NBA rookie can take an advance up to 15% of their salary once they're signed... what you should understand about rookies is the rookies don't get their 1st paycheck till November 15th, a month and a half into the season... but you can negotiate, some guys get 50% of their salary by October 1st, and then they divvy up the rest and I think last paycheck is in April, so you're not paid from April to November... so that's the structure of how we paid."

Draymond reacts to KD's comments on LeBron joining the Sixers "You have to understand the way KD view basketball, the way KD view basketball is very Uncle Drew-ish, this game will and always will be about buckets... so he's going to mention the 25-point scorers... He also said the Sixers are better on paper than the 2016-17 Warriors... I don't know that I can agree with that, I don't really think it works."

Draymond reacts to Jonathan Kuminga signing with the Timberwolves with a promise to start at Power Forward "Now here's where those things get dicey, when you go to a team on a lower level salary... and all of a sudden that starting lineup isn't getting off to great starts, the analytics say this group isn't working that well together, a 6.5 million dollar salary in the NBA is a bench role salary... so my only worry for J.K. is that if it's not working, you're the first plug that gets pulled."

Draymond on the Lu Dort Trade "Number one what this says to me is that Atlanta couldn't get off Zaccharie Risacher any sooner, like they really wanted to get off him...You know, Lu Dort's a big loss for OKC, he is one of their better defenders...At times it's gonna put Jalen Williams on the best perimeter player on the opposing team... Lu Dort can guard bigger guy and smaller guys, I don't know that Cason Wallace has that versatility."

I think this raises the question about the salary cap, we're playing in a league where a team just sold for $12.5 billion... let the punishment be getting rid of the salary cap."
