I was Assistant Team Physician of the Yankees for three weeks. Then I got called into Brian Cashmans office. He told me he was promoting me to Head Team Physician. He looked me me in the eyes and asked “Are you ready❓”. I said, “I’m ready‼️” Then he hit me with this truth, he said to me: “The higher a monkey climbs, the more you see his ass.” 🐒 🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒 Wise words. One of the biggest risks of leadership isn’t just making the tough calls—it’s losing self-awareness.
