Today in the Lok Sabha, I raised a matter of public importance regarding the STRR project. Around 2,200 acres of land were acquired for this project in 2021. However, no compensation has been released to the farmers so far, leaving them in extreme distress. Though my responsibilities as an MP have grown, I remain committed to my medical practice at Bangalore Hospital, Jayanagar, where I continue free OPD visits and surgical procedures twice a week. Today, we successfully conducted a free cardiac screening camp for over 100 senior citizens, offering tests like ECG, Echo, and blood work for cardiac health. I am deeply grateful to the hospital management and the patients for celebrating my birthday in such a meaningful way. ಕಾಡಾನೆಗಳ ದಾಳಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಎಕರೆ ಬೆಳೆ ನಾಶ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ರೈತರು ತೀವ್ರ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಸಹ ಕಾಡಾನೆಗಳ ಹಾವಳಿ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ, ಕೋಡಿಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಸಾತನೂರು, ಮಾಗಡಿ, ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳೆ ಹಾನಿಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆನೆ ದಾಳಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕೆಲ ಕಡೆ ಸಾವು ಸಹ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ CSR ಅನುದಾನ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಡ್ರೋನ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾಡಾನೆಗಳ ದಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೋಡಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಬಳಿಯ ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 25 ಆನೆಗಳ ಹಿಂಡು ಕಾಡಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಡ್ರೋನ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಕಾಡಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಡ್ರೋನ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆನೆಗಳ ಚಲನವಲನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳು ಕಾಡಿನಿಂದಾಚೆ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಇದು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.
