All the #nature lovers who protested against development of Kanche Gachibowli area saying it is the lung space of Hyderabad, please explain this scene. This is the Budvel area, next to the Himayat Sagar reservoir. What you see now is the devastation caused under KTR’s watch as Industries Minister, despite his claims of being an #environmentalist. Before this destruction, the area was home for TREES, PEACOCKS, and various ANIMAL SPECIES. Even more striking, this damage occurred right along the shores of the twin reservoirs that supply Hyderabad’s water. Telangana’s misfortune lies in this back then, no one knows where these so-called #environmentalists were hiding or which forests they were roaming!...

Studies indicate that if this project is implemented, crores of terrestrial and aquatic species, millions of trees, and thousands of indigenous people will be permanently wiped out. Even though you responded in Kancha Gachibowli lands issue without knowing the facts, I don’t intend to find fault with it. You might have had your own “reasons” for reacting that way. In the same context, project under the name “Great Nicobar,” spanning 910 square kilometers, undertaken by the central government, is poised to become a massive environmental disaster, as renowned scientists and environmental experts across the country are vehemently warning. So… all of you must respond to this..#environmentalists
