🚨 You can’t make this up. I caught a hotel worker at the Super 8 / Easters Inn in Prince George allegedly pouring yellow paint into BC sewer drains. Management denied it. The owner admitted it was wrong after seeing my camera… then allegedly tried offering me free hotel stays to keep quiet. This is EXACTLY why independent journalists matter.

🍔 Wendy’s Restaurant: Washing the floors with a watering can—while another employee follows behind with a wet vac. Yes, this is real. The employee told me this is how the boss taught them to wash the floor. The manager confirmed it. My issue is the training—and why temporary foreign labour is being relied upon while Canadians are looking for work. I asked to see one — they handed me a roughly 2-FT MACHETE right across the counter in front of customers. How is this acceptable? 🚨 Nearly died over the past 2 weeks and spent days inside Vancouver ERs undergoing tests. While sitting in the ER at Vancouver General Hospital, flyers were being handed out offering patients $360 cash, breakfast, and lunch to smoke medical cannabis and do driving simulator studies. I’ve been sober 29 years. Sitting in an emergency room being offered drugs felt absolutely dystopian. Nothing against the doctors and nurses — this is about how broken the system has become. In many A&W restaurants I visited, I observed very few employees who appeared to be Canadian-born. That raises a question: Are young Canadians really refusing these jobs, or are they not being hired? Women like Rose — a mother of 3 in Vernon — who told me she feels SAFER sleeping on the streets than inside BC Housing-funded NGO shelters because of the violence inside them. I just travelled across BC for 7 days and heard over 100 stories like this. How can vulnerable women feel unsafe inside shelters meant to protect them?
