If you told someone in the year 2000 that within one generation the Super Bowl half time show would be performed completely in Spanish and they would set up a fucking sugar cane plantation on the pitch complete with Hispanic field labourers as part of the set, you would be considered a deranged far right lunatic conspiracy theorist. Acclaimed progressive Australian writer Richard Flanagan just told an audience in Sydney that the Bondi ISIS terrorist attack was not anti-Semitic, and that the actions of the Australian Jewish community post-Bondi terrorist attack risked ''creating hatred of Jews such as this country has never known.'' Flanagan denounced Australia in his speech as a genocidal white settler colony state before pivoting to argue that the Bondi ISIS terrorist attack itself proved the power of Australia's modern day diversity - because in his telling Australians of all walks of life and different backgrounds rushed to the scene to help. Flanagan conveniently ignores here the fact that a large section of the Australian Muslim community - possibly even a majority - subscribe to conspiracy theories about Bondi being a false flag act of internal fratricide by the Jewish community. Brisbane Holland Park Mosque Imam Uzair Akbar said on video that almost every Muslim he met in this country regarded the attacks as a false flag. Ignoring this evidence, Flanagan inexplicably claimed that the Bondi ISIS terrorist attack against Jewish Australians proved the power of Australian multiculturalism and served as ''a refutation of anti-Semitism.'' Quite how a massacre of fifteen Australian Jews by ISIS terrorists serves as a refutation of anti-Semitism escapes me. Personally I'm not sure how it is that Flanagan can look at Islamic terrorists shooting a ten year old Australian Jewish girl in the head and find in this action a warm heartfelt story about humanity rejecting anti-Semitism. ''But other than the murderous evil of the two gunmen, where was the anti-Semitism to be found at Bondi on that terrible day? Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere.'' I like how he denounced the ''the immediate politicisation of the massacre by the Israel lobby'' as though an ISIS jihadist terror attack against Jewish Australians were not a political event at all but in fact a morally neutral natural disaster like an earthquake or a tsunami. ''A question needs to be asked: To what extent has the Israel lobby itself contributed to anti-Semitism in Australia by consistently advocating for Israel's war in Gaza in a highly aggressive fashion, always seeking to identify all Australian Jewish people with Israel's actions and with the lobby's own heavy-handed attempts to silence Australians?'' ''The Israel lobby has to answer to all Jews for such acts of grotesque injustice as the unlawful sacking of ABC presenter Antoinette Latouf.'' ''But if you wish to create a machine to destroy social cohesion in this country, a machine to create hatred of Jews such as this country has never known, then endorse the ambitions of the special envoy for anti-Semitism. Because although this will be the work of the Israel lobby on behalf of Israel, it will be Australian Jews who will be blamed and scapegoated for it.'' Flanagan praised Islamist and left-wing protesters in Australia who marched on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for Palestine - conveniently ignoring the presence of ISIS-affiliated extremists in the crowd that day like Wissam Haddad, the man who actually radicalised the Bondi shooter Naveed Akram. Then, he savaged Australian Jewish community leader Alex Ryvchin for failing to stop Australian Jews booing the Prime Minister when he visited the mourners at Bondi: ''After the Bondi memorial service where Alex Ryvchin in a most appalling and disrespectful way did nothing to stop the crowd booing Albanese who had after all come as Prime Minister to grieve with the Australian Jews. After all that, Albanese caved to the lobby's demand.'' So Islamist and left-wing acts of political dissent are to be encouraged, whereas any deviation or slight buckling from the progressive consensus as to the wonders of diversity in the wake of an ISIS terrorist massacre of Jews is to be met with the most severe condemnation imaginable. He actually reserves harsher criticism for Alex Ryvchin than he does for Naveed Akram and Sajid Akram - they aren't named for singular condemnation in his speech whereas Ryvchin is. Later in the same speech Flanagan denounced Zionism as a variant of fascism and Nazism: ''Zionism arose out of the same fetid ethno-nationalist ferment of the late 19th and early 20th century europe that also gave the world nazism fascism extreme nationalism and authoritarianism. Its model of society building was that of 19th century imperialism, conquest and violence to create ethnically pure countries.'' He then positively compared Russia to Israel, arguing that unlike Israel, Putin did not seek to ''stifle our freedom of speech and threaten to pervert our democracy'' here in Australia. This is despite the fact that Australian authorities arrested a Russian spy operating in Australia literally five days prior to his speech. Such a disgusting and psycho clown show. The piรจce de rรฉsistance here, though - the real cherry on the cake of this whole towering pile of shit - is that the most radical elements of the Australian left still abused Richard Flanagan as a ''white settler colonial boomer'' in the wake of his speech. Radical communist activist Matt Chun - a white Australian guy who recast himself as a Black Panther style militant anti-colonial revolutionary upon discovering the fact that he was 1/8th Chinese - condemned Richard Flanagan for not expressing direct support for the Bondi terrorist attacks as an act of revolutionary violence against Zionism. Chun denounced Flanagan in an Instagram post as a genocidal white settler colonialist for refusing to openly endorse ISIS terrorist violence against Jews. It wasn't enough for Flanagan to bend over backwards minimising the atrocities - his failure to explicitly pledge allegiance to ISIS marked him as a white settler traitor. Even for all his bowing and scraping before the feral communists that make up Australia's arts community, Flanagan will ultimately always just be another white settler to them.

Sydneyโs Lakemba Mosque is trying to gain council approval to play the Islamic call to prayer from loudspeakers. Lebanese Muslim Association spokesman Gamel Kheir says the practice is inclusive, because Islamic authorities always historically gave non-Muslims the choice to pay a special tax for protection. โIf you return the call to prayer back to us, we leave you alone. I did war reporting from the Donbas last year. This was a residential apartment block in Dobropillya that the Russians bombed. At least a dozen civilians murdered. I visited the scene within 48 hours when there was still smoke rising from the rubble.

BREAKING: Chinese security police harassed Hasan Piker while he was live streaming in Tiananmen Square.
