There were SO many sniffles and tears in the theater during the concluding scenes, but none more tear jerking than the “you bow to no one scene”, of course. Howard Shore just hits you right in the soul 😭 But I was really taken aback by the reverence of the jam packed theater on a Wednesday night at 11:30 PM. You could hear a pin drop during the few quiet moments during the concluding hour of the film. There was a palpable respect and admiration in the theater. We were witnessing something important, special, beautiful.
