I don’t think anything will ever beat the theater experience I just had, of Gandalf leading the Rohirrim down the hill to meet the king at Helms Deep. Absolute peak cinema. These movies are perfect.

Coach Drink was asked about the complexity of Elko’s blitz packages. His response “how much time do you have?” He then goes on to give a pretty detailed breakdown of the blitz packages and ends the segment with: “He got us”

Y’all remember when Cullen Gillaspia BLEW UP Tennessee in 2016 to force a fumble on a kickoff?? That place was ELECTRIC after the 12th Man did his thing.

There were SO many sniffles and tears in the theater during the concluding scenes, but none more tear jerking than the “you bow to no one scene”, of course. Howard Shore just hits you right in the soul 😭 But I was really taken aback by the reverence of the jam packed theater on a Wednesday night at 11:30 PM. You could hear a pin drop during the few quiet moments during the concluding hour of the film. There was a palpable respect and admiration in the theater. We were witnessing something important, special, beautiful.

Look at Marcel man. Working the cadence presnap. Diagnosing blitz, forcing defense to show their hand. Giving a little point to Horton right before the snap to say - this is the zero blitz we have been waiting for - it's coming. (seriously, look... Marcel gestures to Horton right before the snap) Throws a perfect ball without hesitation. ASU's tendency was NOT to blitz on clear passing downs, but to mix them in at odd times. Here you see them bring the house on second and two and Marcel makes them pay. Horton STAMPS this one in!

Here’s Rueben Bain Jr.’s response when asked about the comments made by some Aggie players. What do y’all make of this?

I can’t stop watching SEC CBS intros 😭 This one from Neyland. As an Aggie who was at this game, I can say it was one of the best home venues I’ve been around. This 2 minute clip is just a masterpiece from start to finish.

I love how decisive Marcel is when it’s time to use the legs. He GOES. What a GRITTY TD. Very appropriate that this was the lead taking score in the season’s most consequential game. Very Elko. Very A&M.
