Today, I must bring to the attention of all Nigerians an alarming act of political intimidation. As the NDC candidate for Surulere 1, alongside Mr. Peter Obi and other NDC supporters, I was dismayed to see over 50 of my big campaign banners removed by the APC-led Lagos State Signage LASAA. This was carried in their truck with security escorts.These banners, placed in public spaces, were taken down while APC banners remained intact. Their spokesperson of the LASAA told me that the poles were lagos government property and it has been assigned to “ Outdoor Practitioners” They claim to take it Alausa, only for me to discover this evening that my banners are hidden somewhere in the surulere Local Government Area in onilegogoro I ask: what right does the signage agency have to silence us during this crucial election season? INEC has lifted all bans to ensure free campaigning, and we will not accept this bullying. Meanwhile, Barakat,s banner is still intact , Fuad,s posters are all over the place I call on all Nigerians to see what the APC government is doing to us and to question why they fear a fair contest. I also call on the national leadership of the NDC to investigate this intimidation and demand that APC stop this bullying of opposition parties. APC WANTS TO USE ITS FEDERAL POWER TO REMOVE NDC FROM THE BALLOT PAPER IN THE 2027 FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ELECTION IN SURULERE 1! The plan has already been exposed, and I got wind of it because this is the method they intend to use to rig the election in Surulere 1 Federal Constituency by preventing NDC from appearing on the ballot paper for the 2027 election. They did it during the last federal election for the House of Representatives in Surulere 1 with the Labour Party, when the person who was the Labour Party candidate colluded with them, and the Labour Party did not appear on the ballot paper. Nothing happened because the candidate was part of the game plan. They got away with it then, and now they want to repeat it again. I am calling on the INEC Chairman, Professor Amupitan, to ensure that NDC appears on the ballot paper for the 2027 Federal House of Representatives election in Surulere 1. I am calling on the NDC National Leadership and Lagos State Leadership to be alert and take this threat seriously. I am also calling on Nigerians not to take this matter lightly. It has happened before, and they got away with it. We must not allow it to happen again! They know they cannot bribe me, and neither will I keep quiet. Oga at the top, don’t try it like you did last time ooo! Let this serve as a strong warning: we are watching, we are alert, and we will not fold our arms while anyone attempts to undermine our democratic rights. NDC must be on the ballot paper in Surulere 1 House of Representatives in 2027

One thing I thought I could not do is be a surgeon and a politician at the same time but I have discovered something in life, which is there is always a way when there is determination. It’s a whole lot of sacrifice though but I have now adjusted So I am a surgeon & a politician. What a new title. Loll!! I hope other professionals break this invisible ceiling and join politics Doctor in the day and market woman at night!!. Anyways I have been combining this two lifestyles since 4years now and I have finally acclimatized.

APC government took over 50 of my big banners from Akerele,Shitta,OGUNLANA drive and Adeniran Ogunsanya where they were mounted , they removed them to the Surulere LGA, We are just warming up for campaign. I have tried to call the Surulere Chairman Hon Sule both on call and on WhatsApp to call his “signage boys” to order but his number is not reachable. Please whoever knows how to reach him should please tell him to tell his “signage boys” that this is campaign season and they should release my banners intact

As an ENT surgeon also navigating the political space , it’s a lot of hard work combining both. After the #65freeadenotonsillectomysurgeries to celebrate Mr Peter Obi,s birthday which involved children who could not breath, I and other OK Medics and the Ok Movement USA in partnership with the Vision Savers International are taking up another challenge which is conducting 20000 Free Cataract surgery across Lagos for blind people to receive their eyesights In a broader picture our Principal Mr Peter Obi NDC Presidential candidate Peter Obi has indicated interest in this program to help people gain back their sights The surgery initiative should commence in November. I am happy to say that OK Movement USA has agreed to contribute 1/3rd of the funds for the laser cataract extraction surgeries. I am appealing to all those involved or interested in this program to send in their contributions so we start this program on time It’s already tough being a Nigerian and how much more blind people who cannot afford to pay for these surgeries I will be discussing this surgery in a podcast series details will come shortly

I received a phone call from Mr Peter Obi and am deeply grateful for the words of encouragement from His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, in appreciation of our 65 Free Adenotonsillectomy and ENT Surgery Initiative, organized to mark his birthday and give back to our country, Nigeria. As of today, we have screened over 50 patients, categorizing them into surgical and non-surgical cases while also managing other medical conditions where necessary. What has been particularly inspiring is that beneficiaries have come not only from different parts of Lagos but also from Benin, Awka, Enugu, and Owerri. This reminds us that disease knows no boundaries, and quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. Surgeries for the selected patients will commence this week, and beneficiaries will be contacted through the phone number previously used to reach them. Tomorrow is the final day of the free screening, which ends at 4:00 p.m. 📍 Venue: Infirmorium Catholic Hospital, No. 1 Olufemi Street, off Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos. Anthony Joshua was reportedly involved in a high-impact road traffic accident with confirmed fatalities. Video footage suggests he was in significant pain. In trauma care (ATLS), athletes involved in high-energy sports like boxing often have a high pain threshold, which can mask serious internal injuries. We should not assume his injuries are minimal because 2 persons died instantly from reports I got. He requires a full head-to-toe trauma evaluation, including CT imaging and appropriate immobilization. The manner of transport seen was concerning and not consistent with standard trauma protocols. As an international athlete, nothing should be overlooked by the Federal government if adequate trauma care is unavailable urgent transfer to a higher-level or international trauma center is warranted.

Today, the last set of children from our #65FreeAdenotonsillectomySurgeries were discharged from the ward. Only one child remains on IV antibiotics and is expected to be discharged tomorrow, God willing. From the beginning of this initiative to celebrate Mr Peter Obi’s 65th birthday, we screened over 100 children. More than 70 had medical or surgical indications for adenotonsillar disease, and every child who required adenotonsillectomy had a successful surgery. The final surgeries were completed on Sunday. Today three of the last four families gave me a bottle of wine as a token of gratitude and I received it with a grateful heart. But the greatest reward is seeing these children breathe easier, sleep peacefully, and return home healthier. My sincere thanks to every surgeon, anaesthetist, paediatrician, nurse, theatre staff, cleaner, technician, volunteer, and to every Nigerian who prayed for us throughout this journey. To God alone be all the glory.

Good day Nigerians . This is the centre for collection of PVC in Adeniran Ogunsanya at Progressive high school and the place is empty Surulere people why naa? We were told by the INEC staff in this venue that PVC for lost, damaged, transfer and newly done this year are not yet ready as it has not been received from Abuja, the only ones available are new PVC from last year. This ought not to be so,the process has commenced since over a year ago and this should not be accepted by Nigerians as an excuse. A voter card is not just a card, the life of Nigerians depend on it. For those that just registered last year go and collect your PVC’s. #lostdamagedtransferpvcmustbecollected. Our vote can only count when we collect our pvc NIGERIA WILL BE OK

I received this message today, and honestly, I am so happy I listened to the Holy Spirit speaking to me to carry out these procedures. Initially, I was afraid because I kept asking myself, “65 free surgeries? Hmm…!” 😅 The consultants and anaesthetists on the team were highly experienced, with the consultants having between 5 and 20 years of experience as specialists. Putting everything together was not easy, and I still have not completely balanced the books financially, but God dey! 🙏🏽 However, seeing all these parents sending in their testimonies has given me so much joy. I truly believe that something is being recorded for every member of this medical team in God’s reward book. ❤️ This programme was made possible by an incredible team of dedicated medical and support personnel, including: 5 ENT Surgeons 6 Anaesthetists 4 Anaesthetic Technicians 3 Theatre Nurses 1 Medical Officer 3 Circulating Nurses 2 Cleaners 1 Admin/Logistics/All-round Esther 😄❤️ And finally, I want to appreciate all Nigerians who prayed for us, encouraged us, supported us, and believed in what we were doing. This was more than just surgery. It was an act of service, compassion, and obedience to God. I am grateful that I listened to the Holy Spirit. To God alone be all the glory! 🙏🏽❤️ Something is definitely cooking! And I believe the reward will come from the One who sees every sacrifice made in secret. 🙏🏽
