Hot Girl Syndrome At first, these Korean cheerleaders will hypnotize any man. Then we notice the flaws. After the first few seconds, the girls drift out of sync. That means they don't match the skill of a typical Texas high school drill team. (Sometimes we call them "dance teams" now.) Instead, these Koreans are showing off a dance proficiency they could have learned in an hour. The reason? Hot girl syndrome. These girls are so beautiful, they don't have to be skilled, and they know it. So they don't bother to put in the hours it would take to match the coordination of an average Texas high school drill team. I don't why I'm so mesmerized by a row of perfectly-synchronized girls moving like a single organism, but my ignorance doesn't matter. I want what I want, and I am their target market. Nonetheless, I'm not criticizing the girls. They just responded to their incentives, which were supplied by men. Women are what men make them, and like always, us men told these beautiful girls they don't have to be great, only mediocre. So that's what they did. Which is a shame, because they could have been great.
