It’s actually quite simple for managers to ensure safe staffing levels (ignoring the fallacy that we have safe staffing levels on a normal day). They assume every rostered resident doctor will be striking and cover those shifts accordingly Wes Streeting.

Brilliant speech by Chris Morris, shame the sentiment in the room was not with you. Cohorts of current UK medical students and foundation doctors are watching the BMA and associated groups with great intent. One would be wise not to alienate the base of their core membership.
