At Karjat Platform no. 1, in Train no. 12123 CSMT-Pune exp- A male passenger was trying to board the running train in C-1 coach and fallen down on track. Alert Pointsman Mr. Sourabh Kumar Singh (returning to office after attaching banker engine to the train) seen the incident and immediately shown Red signal to Train Manager. Train Manager instantly dropped the pressure and stopped train. Passanger was safely removed from track. Fortunately no major injuries to the passenger & he is safe. Passengers are requested not to board/deboard the running train.

FORTRESS TICKET CHECKING DRIVE conducted today 04/08/26 at Ghatkopar station. Total 265 without ticket passengers penalised with ₹ 1,26,330 penalty. 1) 2 Without AC Ticket passengers penalised with ₹ 1,155 penalty. 2) 16 First Class Without Ticket passengers penalised with ₹ 9,095. 3) 15 Difference Fare passengers penalised with ₹ 8,420. 4) 192 Second Class Without ticket passengers penalised with ₹ 97,870. 5) 38 Unbooked Luggage cases penalised with ₹ 5,790. 6) 1 Hawker and 1 Handicap Misuse penalised with ₹ 2,000 penalty each. Total 15 TTEs and 5 RPF participated in the drive.

Extension of platforms for EMU suburban 15 car work in progress at Thane PF 1, 2 & 3 (CSMT end) and at Dombivali PF 1A, 1 & 2, such as- 1) Dismantling and Insertion of point 125W. 2) Connection of new 125W crossover with newly laid 150 Mtr plain track by slewing it by 4-5 mtr. 3) 7 OHE mast/portal dismantling, shifting all main cabling and creating space for track slewing and extension. 4) Loading of scrap & unloading of 13 mtr rails using 11 BRN rake. 5) Dismantling and insertion of crossover 148 A/B by shifting 60 mtr using hydra/JCB & poclain machine. 6) PCTM machine turnout & crossover tamping of Point 135B, 146A, 148A & 148B. 7) Space creation to shift turnout ladder of point 149 A/B and further space creation for platform extension.
