Assault on resident doctor of KGMU. Patient presented to hospital with poly trauma following fall from train. He was also undiagnosed type 1 diabetic with diabetic keto acidosis. Patient was managed by trauma surgery team as per recent guidelines and availability. But unfortunately patient expired due to cardiac arrest. Poor condition of patient has been explained to patient’s wife as well his father (documented). Sorry , but poor condition of patient was not well explained to patient’s sister , Phupha , cousins and other relatives who actually assaulted doctors over there. Please understand, If doctors were God, we wouldn’t let any patient die.
