When I posted 3 years ago about the changing face of politics in many areas esp. in North Liverpool, a lot of people disregarded it and said never gonna happen - "we are a proudly anti-fascist city"/"we chased James Goddard's crew back into Lime Street station" etc... I never said that this is in all of Liverpool, just that there are parts which have been very heavily influenced by the far right and it's getting worse. I see a lot of Restore Britain banners on cars, and the odd Sonnenrad or Wolfsangel in the gym... Everything from socio-economic deprivation, to distrust festering around the pandemic, to Talk TV being branded "Liverpool TV" has contributed. Not accepting this is happening doesn't help anyone.
