It walked right up to our door, dropped it on the mat, and sat there until my dog acknowledged it. Then it left. I don't know how the fox knew. I don't know why it cared. This classic Karen marches right up to her next-door neighbor, huffing and puffing, arms flailing like she's conducting an invisible orchestra of outrage. She's laying into him full blast for parking "somewhere he shouldn’t have" — according to the HOA bylaws that exist only in her head. The guy's just standing there calmly holding a garden hose (maybe washing his car, maybe watering plants, doesn't matter). Mid-rant, without even breaking eye contact or saying a word, he casually turns the nozzle her way and unleashes a solid stream right at her. She shrieks like she's being murdered, flails even more wildly, gets absolutely drenched, and finally storms off soaking wet and defeated. A little water never hurt anyone — especially since it wasn't ten degrees out and nobody was risking hypothermia. She bails, he just shrugs, turns the hose back to whatever he was doing, finishes his mission like a boss, and goes on with his day. What would I have done? Pretty much exactly what this guy did. 🤣
