Oregon needs a rebound, and I know what it takes to get one. I’ve spent my career doing the work that doesn’t make headlines but decides outcomes. As Governor, I’ll strengthen our economy, refocus our schools, and restore safety. Vote for me May 19th.

A new poll confirms what many Oregonians already know: we need a new direction for Oregon, and I’m the Republican best positioned to defeat Tina Kotek in November. Oregonians are tired of rising costs, homelessness, failing leadership, and the Salem status quo. Vote by May 19th.

Safety and fairness matter. Keeping male athletes out of female sports protects a level playing field and recognizes the work girls put in. We can respect everyone while defending women’s sports. That commitment to safety and fairness is why I’m running for Governor of Oregon.

Oregon is too great a state to settle for a struggling economy. I’ve spent my career negotiating billion-dollar deals, leading organizations as a CEO, and more than 25 years as a CFP. I understand what it takes to grow businesses, create jobs, and turn opportunity into real results. As governor, I’ll bring that leadership to Salem and get Oregon’s economy moving again. Thanks to KGW News for having me on!

There’s a reason Tina Kotek called me personally last December and tried to convince me not to run for Governor. Because she knows I’m the only candidate who can beat her in November. She knows Oregonians are ready to move beyond partisan politics and unite around real change. She knows my last campaign came closer than any Republican gubernatorial campaign in nearly 40 years, falling short by just over 1% and delivering the closest Governor’s race in over 70 years. And she knows I will make her a one-term governor. Oregon is ready for new leadership, new energy, and a Governor focused on results, accountability, and bringing people together. The choice is simple: me or another four years of Tina Kotek. Vote for me in the Republican Primary by May 19th.

Rural Oregon’s way of life is under attack. IP-28 wants to eliminate farming, ranching, hunting, and fishing. The fact that Salem is not louder in opposition to this petition tells me that they are not prioritizing rural Oregon. I am proud to hunt, fish, and own cattle myself. It’s a way of life here. Passing this petition would cost over a billion dollars in lost revenue, let alone take away the culture of so many Oregonians, including our tribes. As governor, I will not let that happen. I will protect rural Oregonians from IP-28 and all of the harmful decisions coming out of Salem.

Oregon hasn’t had a governor with a strong business background in over 40 years, and it shows. It’s time for a change. From negotiating billion dollar deals for the NBA Players Association, to being a CFP for 20+ years, I believe my experience outside of Salem is a valuable asset to our state. As governor, I will be our Chief Prosperity Officer. I will bring a true business background to Salem. I’ve always admired former Governor Atiyeh, as both a leader and a personal mentor. He brought a deep business background to the role and transformed Oregon. I look forward to walking in his footsteps!

This new law in Oregon just made it harder to afford everyday life. Here’s how. Governor Tina Kotek just signed SB 1507, and it takes away three key tax breaks: one for buying cars, one for small business growth, and one for investing in equipment and creating jobs. Now all three are gone at the state level. That means less investment, fewer job opportunities, and more pressure on your wallet at a time when costs are already high. Oregon should be making it easier to get ahead, not harder. That’s why I’m running for Governor of Oregon. We need leadership that actually understands how to grow jobs and lower costs. Vote for me by May 19th.

Three times Oregon has declared a state of emergency over homelessness. And for three straight years, our problems have continued to worsen. It’s time for a change. We must shift our focus to prevention and recovery rather than a housing-first model. The emphasis should be placed on getting poison like fentanyl off our streets, with harsher penalties for dealers, and on providing recovery resources for those who are addicted, disabled, or suffering from mental illness. Housing can no longer be the top priority, as it has too often enabled relapse rather than helping Oregonians break free from destructive cycles. As governor, I will treat this issue like the crisis it is. I will no longer settle for simply declaring states of emergency without demanding results. It’s time to protect Oregonians. Thanks to Kevin Dahlgren 🥾 🥾 for the conversation.
