Peshmerga accompanying President Masoud Barzani’s visit to the Kurdish city of Cizîrê were met with enthusiastic crowds, with many locals especially thrilled to see a Kurdish security member proudly wearing the Kurdistan flag on his shoulder.

🔴Angry protesters in Duhok are calling for the borders to be opened so they can go and defend the Kurds in West Kurdistan. They are also demanding that the Roj Peshmerga be deployed to protect Kurds.
