You would think supermarkets have the same standards in all of their stores, but you'd be mistaken. When I went to a supermarket in a migrant neighbourhood in Brussels years ago, I noticed this for the first time. Food on the floor, packages torn open, security guards at the entrance. Never seen anything like it in the white areas of my country, even though they're the exact same stores. I wonder if these companies have different guidelines for stores in migrant areas, or if those store managers have just given up.

The Syrian, who was known to police for prior offences, left the scene but returned minutes later and pulled an AK-47 from his jacket. He luckily failed to correctly insert the magazine and security staff were able to tackle and disarm him. But that's not the most shocking part. The shocking part is this: he was RELEASED on bail pending investigations. The war in Syria is over. Every Syrian should be remigrated immediately.
