Free agent Kyle Van Noy is very much on the #Vikings radar. A visit is expected to take place. Personally, seeing how entertaining he is on this app, 🙏🏼 to happening!

Former D1 Minnesota guard Tamin Lipsey is joining Indiana #Pacers on Exhibit 10 deal. Thought he’d look good playing for Iowa Wolves. But #Wolves didn’t try.

Waseca native and former Minnesota State Mankato guard Malik Willingham will be among draft prospects in with the #Timberwolves tomorrow for a workout, I hear. He’s a big reason why the Mavs won the D-II title. #WolvesBack

Former Lakeville North and #Badgers forward Tyler Wahl will play Summer League for the hometown #Timberwolves, per his agents Sam Cipriano & Keith Kreiter of Edge Sports. #WolvesBack

Add Kentucky RB Seth McGowan to the list of #Vikings draft visitors last week. The Vikings had at least three RBs visit: McGowan, Coleman (Washington), and Johnson (Nebraska).

Draft-eligible players who worked out for the Utah #Jazz today: Melvin Ajinca (France), Ulrich Chomche (Cameroon), Tyler Kolek (Marquette), Ajay Mitchell (UCSB), + Lakeville native and once upon a time KSTP intern for a day Tyler Wahl (Wisconsin).

Caught up with #Vikings WR Jordan Addison postgame last night. Thought his reaction to not having a catch was spot-on:

Caught up with former #Vikings head coach Brad Childress for a story I'm working on. Also asked him about the current 5-0 Vikings. He's a big fan of Kevin O'Connell:

I sat down recently w/ former Hopkins forward Ahmed Nur. He'll play his senior year at a prep school in Phoenix. His recruitment has blown up since he won MVP at the NBPA camp in June. #Gophers want him. Snippet of our chat, + link to all 20+ min. below:

The #Vikings and #Steelers are expected to have scouts Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium for the #Gophers vs. Akron game. Gophers left guard Greg Johnson (Prior Lake HS) continues to impress. Great pancake captured by our Alec Ausmus from last Saturday:

Interviews from the #Vikings locker room today. Start with DL 'Big Citrus' Domonique Orange. Love his energy and enthusiasm:

#MNTwins 1B/2B Royce Lewis had me in tears postgame this afternoon. Watch him tell us why he hopes to meet Kevin Costner tomorrow at Field of Dreams:

I'd love to see the #MNTwins spend aggressively in November pre-lockout and while doing so, re-sign reliever A.J. Minter. Caught up with him this afternoon:

Rooting for former Minneapolis North HS and #Gophers star WR Tyler Johnson to make the Dallas #Cowboys roster. Caught up with Tyler the other day. Was great seeing his son with him. This is Tyler's 7th year in the NFL.

Always fun to take in the fast-paced P.J. Fleck-run #Gophers practice. Noticed scouts from the #Lions, #Eagles, #Bucs, + #Browns present today. That will be a common theme all year w/ NFL prospects No. 65 OL Greg Johnson, No. 0 DL Anthony Smith, No. 5 QB Drake Lindsey, & others.

#MNWild defenseman Quinn Hughes told me this morning that Tuesday vs. Utah was the first time in a while that he felt like he had his full legs. Here's my conversation with him ahead of tonight's home game vs. Philly:

Brief catch-up with WR Jordan Addison after Thursday's #Vikings minicamp practice, his final one of the offseason program:

Harrison Smith shares a message of gratitude. He's an all-timer, and today's performance should be front-and-center on his highlight reel when he enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame. #Vikings

After a quick off camera catch-up about our mutual interest in HopkinsHSFootball, transitioned to #Vikings chatter with LT Christian Darrisaw. He's confident solid offense is coming:

Powerful emotion from #Vikings left guard Dalton Risner late last night:

Worthy question when speaking with #Vikings legend Harrison Smith today: "Do you want to play until you're not good?" He has lots to ponder in the coming weeks. Portion of our chat below, plus link to all of it:

1-year veteran minimum for Trey Lyles = good depth piece for Wolves. Very willing to mix it up too. Played for Real Madrid last year after 10 previous seasons in the NBA. #WolvesBack

I learned a lot about new #Vikings GM Nolan Teasley from Seattle assistant head coach and ex-Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier. Snippet of our chat below, + a link to all 13 minutes. Fun to hear about Nolan the communicator, collaborator, and much more.

Mentioned on Flagrant Howls and will hammer home here: “Perfect fit!” = thoughts from folks at Mayo Square on Ball. Talent undeniable. They feel like getting him in this environment will elevate his maturation + ability to stay on the court. #WolvesBack

I caught up this afternoon with former Wolves forward and developmental coach Gary Trent Sr. He has plenty of thoughts on the acquisition of LaMelo Ball. Snippet of our chat below, plus link to watch all 9 minutes: #Wolves #WolvesBack #Twolves

Please, Nolan and KOC, keep new LB Jamal Adams. He has the gift of gab, was fun to engage with him and listen to his insight post-practice. #Vikings

Former Lakeville North and #Badgers forward Tyler Wahl will play Summer League for the hometown #Timberwolves, per his agents Sam Cipriano & Keith Kreiter of Edge Sports. #WolvesBack
