Had a welcome breakthrough in my driver session today. Ive been really struggling with Angle of Attack forever. I have tried every trick in the book to get my AoA positive with driver. Ball fwd, drop right shoulder, head behind ball etc... tried ALL of it. Couldn't do it consistently UNTIL I tried turning my chin to the right and using my left eye to track the ball instead of my right as I normally do. Boom suddenly everything was +. 10 straight including the best drive in months on my last swing. Pumped.

Great example of why golf is so annoying/addicting. Practicing basic lil pitch shots from the rough today. This sequence is classic. Two so-so shots. Then out of nowhere I shank the 3rd. Then see what happens on the fourth. Golf. That's golf. So annoying.

This is embarrassing but whatever. (🔊up!) Meg & I are trying to see how far we can hit driver. I look ridiculous trying to snap my front leg & generate power. I'm so washed. Ugh. But also so desperate for Meg's validation. She's cheering me on though. What a great kid.❤️

Been outside grinding balls for 2+ hours. Working on my angle of attack with driver. Trying to squeeze some more distance on my drives. Stevie comes outside barefoot and grabs the club and rips back to back 300+ yd carry bombs. Believe me, he has no idea where it's going. His swing is wild. He shanked a couple. But he has that raw 25 yr old speed. Annoying.

My putting stroke is TRASH. I'm yippy & I kinda cut across it. It's gross. BUT. I think I found something. ;) When I lift the heel of the putter it keeps the ball on line better. I researched it & apparently it takes some of the arc out of the stroke. Whatever. It works!!

Meg's first ever golf lesson. She literally just learned the grip, posture and kind of how to swing. She ripped a few over 200 yds lol. Great job Jeff St. John. You might be a genius.

Here's video of the walk up after we saw my buddy Adam ace the 3rd hole yesterday at Norbeck. (His 4th btw... annoying). I hesitate to put this out cuz i'm so excited. But whatever it was a cool moment and I was so happy for my friend.

Been working so hard on my short game. I hit 12 greens today. That's pretty exceptional ball striking for me. I had 41 putts. WTF. Whats wrong with my stroke? What do you see? Do I have a yip? I think I do. This is from last weekend in NY before VB game.
