This sums up Anzalone's day. 3rd & 7 in the 1st half. Great Bucs coverage. Burrow says uncle & dumps it down. Look at where Perine's body is facing & look at the angle AA takes? He even has Scott to help if Perine turns around. Should have been a punt, not a TD drive. In terms of rough days, he is No. 1 on my board defensively for Tampa Bay from Week 1.

Brayden Point with a comically quick win on that fight. So at least there is that.

Toronto buzzes down, talks about it for 5 minutes and *conclusively* decides this is a hand pass from Brandon Hagel. Takes a goal off the board and strips the Lightning of, at least, one point. What are we doing here? Someone please explain that to me?

Watching Crozier-Slafkovsky sequence again & I see why Cooper was so angry. Dach takes a swipe at Crozier & isn't penalized. Instead, it's Matheson for a slash on Point. MTL fans have spent a lot of time complaining about the refs, but there were bad/missed calls both ways.

This is a classic walk-off mic moment from Brandon Hagel. The Tampa Bay Lightning are tied with the Carolina Hurricanes for most points in the Eastern Conference. The Bolts have one game in hand, though. #GoBolts

I can break down stats and numbers -- analyze this and that, but sometimes a team just has to have that *it* factor. The Tampa Bay Rays are a special group. Rays-Yankees in the Bronx will be must-watch TV for baseball fans this weekend.

If you want to hear what Mike Florio had to say about Bucky Irving...I think it's pretty significant. "I don't think he's going to be back any time soon. Definitely more information than what's available in the injury report."

Brandon Hagel and Jon Cooper both said this feeling is very similar to the one they had in Milan. Hagel didn't really know how to explain this loss after the contest. "You give up 0 shots in the 2nd period. Three shots in the 3rd period. And lose a hockey game."

Here was Jon Cooper's answer about the amount of penalties his team took tonight. "We took four offensive zone penalties. Just look at them. That was not over-aggression, that was stupidity in a lot of them."

Baker Mayfield might have stopped negotiations with the Buccaneers, but this topic will be a talking point all season long. I try to provide perspective on how both sides got to this point. I also explain why the franchise tag in 2027 is absolutely on the table for Tampa Bay.

Here is the ESPN crew talking about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I think they did an excellent job describing the issues with this team. Fans have been watching this horrendous, soft zone for years. Nothing has, seemingly, changed. Revamped DL. New LBs. Same old issues.

I mean, what is Matthew Tkachuk doing here? Brandon Hagel seems to win another fight against Tkachuk. Also, poor J.J. Moser. Paul Maurice tossed. Even before Olympics we can't escape the hatred. Unless they meet in playoffs, what a season this was for Lightning-Panthers.
