I participated in a roundtable panel at the World Governments Summit, hosted by Tucker Carlson , under the theme “Is the Next Decade African?” In responding to questions on Africa’s relations with global powers, I emphasised that Zimbabwe is a sovereign state that engages with all partners, East or West, on the basis of national interest. What matters most is not pleasing external powers, but securing arrangements that deliver the best outcomes for our people and our resources. Zimbabwe will continue to pursue partnerships that respect our sovereignty, advance our development objectives, and serve our own priorities. #WorldGovernmentsSummit #Zimbabwe #Sovereignty
